Through this integration project, I have learned to apply the understanding of various types of building material which affects the tactile and chemical properties of design/building/space. I have explored and identified and did research of various types of building materials and technology which suitable for my design of R's House Studio. I used to understand the effects of building materials on occupancy, aesthetics and structural qualities of a space or building, environment and etc. These elements will help to enhance my design concept as well. Other than that, I have learned to produce drawings which I have learned in Design Communication to visualize the architectural effects of proposed materials (spatial quality).
