Project 2: Web Book
This project allow us to know, recognise the modern architecture from 1950's to 1970's in Klang Valley. Thus, by recording, documenting and analysing the buildings, we can contribute to preserve the historical evidence of the valuable Modern Architecture in Klang Valley.
A group of us have paid a visit to Petaling Jaya Civic Centre to do an analysis of this building. Civic Centre was built in 1970's which was influenced by Modern Architecture at that period. We have collected some facts and information and analysed architectural style, building materials and construction and architectural elements/ components of Civic Centre with the help of Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya and Petaling Jaya Museum.We have compiled all the information and analysis of the building in a form of web book full with photographs to share with others across the world.

Learning Outcome
Through this project, I have learned and raise my understanding on the principle, ideas and contributing factors of Modern Architecture in Klang Valley especially Petaling Jaya Civic Centre. I am able to analyse and identify specific architectural features of Modern Architecture in Klang Valley and document architectural heritage which have collected and analysed in the form of writings, descriptive diagrams and photography. In addition, I have also learned to create a web book as a mean to publish academic materials with the help of all group mates.
